Nature is as beautiful as a Mcdonald's cup.

After 24 years of living right next to a small park, I have always been familiar with nature and of course the litter that people poison it with… I always wondered why people can not respect their environment. So one day I spent 3 hours picking up litter, and used it to arrange letters across a dirt cliff for extremely easy viewing. I then found the garbage removed one day later.

unfortunately i have seen trash in the park, but its only a fraction of what it was like when I was young.

I think that realizing the irony and getting the message is the same thing. It was appropriate that it was picked up. That means it was effective, at least for the short term. Have you seen more trash in the park?

Thanks for the comments… absolutley I agree… My intention was certainly to clean it up the following day…(if someone didnt get to it first, which they did)… I was very interested in seeing how long it would stay for… also, everything from the cliff back is my property… and is where some of the garbage was found.

great if somebody got the message, bad if somebody realized the irony and didn’t want the message to be tarnished. (Because writing respect with trash is disrespectful)
You should probably clarify that you were going to pick it up completely the next day.oi
