It is impossible to merely forgive and forget.

The title of this piece is “It is impossible to merely forgive and forget.” The reason that I chose to title this picture as such is because I sincerely feel so. When I look back on my life, although not very long at all so far, I feel as if I have faced a plethora of experiences with retribution. Losing friends, family, toys. Losing other people’s toys, jewelry, phones, etc. I mean to be honest, all of these events call for some form of retribution. We as people simply do not view them as such. To kind of make sense of this nonsensical ranting, I mean to say that it is impossible to just forget about experiences and move on. These events are what make you who you are. That is why I chose to display this picture. It shows that although the Daisy is still blossoming as thriving and continuing on, it has left some petals behind. Some might view that as loss. It is something far beyond that. It shows growth, knowledge, life, and success. It shows something that I personally thrive for in all aspects of my being. Survival. Continuing on although something had to be left behind, and not merely disposing of your past. Remembrance. Retribution.
