Things I have learned in my life so far

When we “place our own selves in the shoes of unfortunate ‘others’, and act (lovingly) accordingly”, we have done what that Rule which is Golden (Pure) requires of us.

It allows us to see “their” wounds as “our wounds”, and from that amalgam, “your” wounds are “my wounds”. The Golden Rule is Love’s (God’s) Principal (Grounding) Principle. All others stem from it. That is why we are enjoined to “do unto others as we would have others do unto us”, and “not to do to others that we would hate for ourselves” etc.

When we adhere to this Wisdom, we “give Love” (God) a chance, so that “Truth” (God, also) can keep on marching on…, and so that “Heaven on Earth” we all aspire to can be realized for us, all, in this “now”.

From “macro” to “micro” - all of “us” must take this “leap of faith”: God = Love = Truth = Balance = Peace and Harmony

Humanity is like a bouquet of flowers, in which each flower is beautiful in its own right, yet, the combination of all flowers, and the rich diversity of their colours and forms, is more beautiful.

“Man” is in a state of loss, except such as have faith, and do righteous deeds, and join together in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience, and Constancy.

Violence and killing have no place in solving the problems of “man”.

Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you: Do unto all as you would wish to have done unto you: Reject for others that what you would reject for yourself.

Show forgiveness, speak for justice, and avoid the ignorant. Share belief in human responsibility, consequences for good and evil deeds, moral teachings, and other values – such as love, peace and justice.

Target racism and intolerance, for The command to be merciful applies to all.

The focus of life is not religion.

Religion is a tool to focus humanity. It is a way to read the world, but it is not the main thing. It is your efforts in life; your humanity. It’s OK whoever you are; focus on humanity. Be kind - even to your animals. Have respect !

Love, and be good to as many as you can.

Be grateful for every year that you live, for no matter how long you live, you will be dead much longer. You aren’t going to be young very long, so enjoy your youth.

Be happy while you are still young. Do what you want to do, and follow your hearts desire, remembering always to respect your Creator God, for we must all return to the dust of the earth, and the breath of life will go back to God who gave it to us.

These (latter) “words are like the sharp sticks that shepherds use to guide sheep, and are as lasting as firmly driven nails. They have been given by God, the one Shepherd of us all” (see the writings attributed to Solomon’s Wisdom, in Ecclesiastes).
