Thinking outside the box, leaving predicted or predictable paths and ways of thinking provides the chance for creative solutions. Sometimes this requires to break rules. Rules - not principles. Principles stay in place and allow to continue life without any harm - by broken rules - for example.

Yes, I agree that Thinking “outside the box”, leaving predicted or predictable paths and ways of thinking, provides the chance for “creative solutions”. And that “Breaking rules” produces unpredictable results, while following “rules” produces (mostly) predictable results.

However, we can go further as you have wisely concluded (see 1st para above), The “trick to success” is to follow only those rules grounded by loving “principal principles”, and, when we are “between a rock and a hard place”, to always break those which have produced unloving results - to “give love a chance”.
